(Series in progress)

I consider the reliance on my dominant hand as being emblematic of how privilege is embodied.

I trust and rely on my right hand as a tool for carrying out actions, and generally never think about it. It is invisible to me, yet I constantly rely on it in order to operate and get what I need and want in the world.

The left hand, however, is highly noticeable, in that I can't control it the way I can with my right. It exists in comparison to my dominant hand.

These drawings are artifacts of trying to strengthen my perception of my right hand in the way I perceive my left, and teach myself that ones capability to communicate with precision isn't necessarily indicative of understanding.
